West Midland Bird Club

Solihull Branch

Nuthatch sketch by Jim Winsper

Birdwatchers of all levels of experience are warmly welcome at our Indoor Meetings and Field Trips, whether or not they are members of the Club. All meetings are conducted in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Indoor meetings are generally seven per season, held between October and April, and comprise illustrated talks by experienced speakers. There are usually six or seven field trips per year, by members' own transport, to interesting birdwatching localities up to an hour's drive from Solihull. Duration of field trips is usually between two and three hours. All those attending are welcome to contribute their sightings in the course of the walk. Lifts can be arranged by contacting the Meetings Secretary at least twenty four hours before the time appointed for the start of the walk.
