We publish an Annual Report on the birds of Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the metropolitan West Midlands, the four counties of the West Midland region.
The Report comprises records of sightings, submitted by ordinary members and other observers. Your submissions would be welcome!
The current, 77th, report (ISSN 1476-2862) details bird sightings across the region in 2010, from rarities to regular counts of common birds. It also has articles on special surveys, news of ringing recoveries, a gazetteer and colour photographs.
The report is free to members. Non-members may purchase a copy, for £9 plus £2 p&p (in the UK; overseas please write first), from our Membership Secretary. Please make cheques (drawn on a UK bank) payable to "West Midland Bird Club". Thank you.
A report has been published every year since 1934, originally under our early name of the Birmingham Bird Club. We have details of every previous report, including an archive of articles from them.
