December 2008

31st: Firecrest present at the sewage outfall off Edison Road from the 28th–31st.
30th: 11 probable White-fronted Geese flew over, Greenshank flew over, Raven.
29th: Hen Harrier, Peregrine, 3 Green Sandpiper, Woodcock, 6 Grey Wagtail, 180 Mallard, 130 Teal, 112 Gadwall. (6 Chiffchaff at the sewage outfall).
28th: Little Egret, 3 Shelduck, 3 Goosander. (Cetti's Warbler, 5 Chiffchaff, Green Sandpiper at sewage outfall).
26th: 2 Shelduck.
23rd: Peregrine.
21st: Little Egret, 3 Shelduck, 150 Gadwall, 40 Tufted Duck, 10 Pochard, 11 Grey Heron. (Common Sandpiper and 2 Green Sandpiper on the river).
20th: 3 Shelduck, 2 Goosander, 9 Bullfinches.
18th: 2 Peregrine, 2 Raven, 2 Chiffchaff.
16th: Cetti's Warbler, 5 Woodcock, 5 Shelduck, 3 Water Rail, 5 Song Thrush.
15th: Approximately 50 Golden Plover flew over the car park, female Pintail, 3 Shelduck, Goosander, c.100 Siskin and Redpoll, Female Pintail, Woodcock, 10 Snipe.
14th: 2 Woodcock, Peregrine, 3 Shelduck, 200 Lapwing.
13th: Approximately 400 Wigeon, 100 Gadwall.
9th: Pair of Pintail.
7th: Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Peregrine, Cetti's Warbler, Green Sandpiper, Blackcap.
