The Kidderminster Branch welcomes everyone on its Field Trips. These inlude Dawn Chorus and evening walks. The branch visits our own reserves, plus sites of birding interest both near and far, hiring a minibus for longer journeys.

A half day visit to the Club's Ladywalk Nature Reserve, which lies on the site of the old Hams Hall power station, in a loop of the River Tame. This trip will be by car and we will meet in the car park. Journey time from Kidderminster approximately 45 minutes. |

Sefton Coast, Lancashire and RSPB Marshside (SD353205 ) |
A full day visit, to see large numbers of overwintering birds including waders, geese, swans and — hopefully — a raptor or two. We will meet at Sands Lake car park, Ainsdale Beach (SD296127 ) at 10.00 a.m. and finish at RSPB Marshside at dusk. You are advised to bring warm and waterproof clothing plus hot drinks. Journey time approx. 2 hours. |

A full day visit to World's End near Llangollen and Venus Pool. We hope to see upland species including Black Grouse and Merlin at World's End and water birds at Venus Pool. We will meet at the World's End car park (SJ227520 ) at 10.00 a.m. Journey time approx. 2 hours. |

Rutland Water Nature Reserve (SO774792 ) |
A full days visit. At Rutland there is a wide mixture of habitats on a 500 acre sites increasing the possibility of sightings of a good number of species, including newly arrived migrants as well as the Rutland Ospreys. We will meet at the Anglian Birdwatching Centre at 10.00am and we expect to be back in Kidderminster about 6.00pm. Participants may however choose to call in at the nearby Eyebrook Reservoir on the return trip. Take warm and waterproof clothing plus food and drink. There will be a charge for a permit to the reserve. Journey time from Kidderminster is about 2 hours. |

Wyre Forest, Worcestershire. | An early morning walk. Meet at the Dry Mill Lane car park (SO777755 ). Our walk should provide both sight and sound of all of the newly arrived woodland species including warblers, Pied Flycatchers, Redstarts and Tree Pipits. Journey time 10 minutes. |

RSPB Coombes Valley . (SK009534 ) |
A full day visit to RSPB Coombes Valley where we hope to see summer migrants along with resident birds. Then on to the Knotbury Area some seven miles away to see upland bird species. We meet at the RSPB car park at 10 a.m. and return at about 6 p.m. Journey time approx. 90 minutes. |
