Nick explains:

In absolutely awful weather conditions - almost dark and sheeting it down with rain - whilst waiting for my wife's train, I sat overlooking the railway at Tame Bridge which is between Walsall and West Bromwich. On the overhead wire supports for the railway landed a Blackbird which started singing (just like a Blackbird). You know how it is when you get to my age - I looked at it and thought "I've gotta get my eyes tested, it looks as though it's got a white head!" so I picked up my camera and looked and low and behold, it had!
