West Midland Bird Club

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the West Midland Bird Club for 2008 was hosted by our Solihull Branch, at Solihull College's, New Lecture Rooms, Blossomfield Road, Solihull B91 1SB (SP142790 ), on 3 April.

The accounts and Chairmans' Report were approved and the following changes were made:

• Kevin Clements was elected as Deputy Chairman (having been co-opted to that role during the preceeding year).
• Andy Mabbett stood down as an 'elected member' of the Executive (but remained on the Executive in his new role as Chaiman of the Birmingham Branch).
• Andy Thomas stood down as Treasurer (but kindly agreed to cover that role until a replacment is found).
• John Reeves stood down as Membership Secretary (but kindly agreed to cover that role until a replacement is found).
• Roger Broadbent and Rob Swift were elected to the Executive as members.
• The remaining officers were re-elected on block.
