Annual General Meeting 2003

The Annual General Meeting of the West Midland Bird Club for 2003 was hosted by our Solihull Branch, on 20 May.

Highlights included:

The standing executive council were re-elected, en-bloc.
Bert Coleman became Deputy Chairman.
Andy Thomas was confirmed as Treasurer.
The proposed amendment to the rules was passed.
The accounts were approved.
New leaflets about each reserve were displayed (copies will be distributed to members shortly).
The Club's new logo (above) was launched.
Life membership was awarded to the then Permit Secretary, Margaret Surman, who had performed this voluntary chore for over 25 years.
A gift was presented to Daphne Dunstan, who was leaving the region after many years as a stalwart of the Club.
