Birding Events, in the West Midland Region, in June 2010

Anyone is welcome at the Club's indoor meetings. There is small charge for admission, with a discount for members of the Club. Members are also welcome to participate in the field trip activities of any branch.

This page also lists events not organised by the Club. Many links are to other organisations' websites (e.g. local RSPB groups) and the Club accepts no responsibility for their content. In search of rare British breeding birds we start at Weeting Heath hoping for Stone Curlew and possibly Woodlark. In the afternoon we search Lakenheath RSPB for Golden Oriole in the poplar plantations and Common Crane and Bittern in the extended reedbeds.
Cost £15.00 which includes reserve entrance fee.

Meet at Seven Springs car park. We will look at the car park area before setting off to look for Nightjars and other 'Chase Specialities' at about 7:45pm.
