West Midland Bird Club

Birding Events, in the West Midland Region, in January 2009

Anyone is welcome at the Club's indoor meetings. There is small charge for admission, with a discount for members of the Club. Members are also welcome to participate in the field trip activities of any branch.

This page also lists events not organised by the Club. Many links are to other organisations' websites (e.g. local RSPB groups) and the Club accepts no responsibility for their content. As well as working forBirdguides.com *, Andy has many other strings to his bow including tour guide, and Group Recorder and Producer for SK58 Birders * one of the really innovative smaller bird 'clubs' in the U.K. His should be a very interesting perspective on today's birding scene.

Garry is the Community Officer for the RSPB's new reserve in the Tame Valley, which is expected to open later in 2009.

Using his experiences in Indonesia, the Amazon basin, West Africa, Central America etc., Michael explains how a forest works and shows some of the specialised mammals, birds, reptiles and insects that have evolved to live there.
