WMBC Kidderminster Branch field trip Rutland Water Nature Reserve * (SO774792 *) A full days visit. At Rutland there is a wide mixture of habitats on a 500 acre sites increasing the possibility of sightings of a good number of species, including newly arrived migrants as well as the Rutland Ospreys. Transport will be by car, so if you are willing to take passengers, or require a lift, please contact one of the Kidderminster Branch committee members to arrange lifts. We will meet at the Anglian Birdwatching Centre at 10.00am and we expect to be back in Kidderminster about 6.00pm. Participants may however choose to call in at the nearby Eyebrook Reservoir on the return trip. Take warm and waterproof clothing plus food and drink. There will be a charge for a permit to the reserve. Journey time from Kidderminster is about 2 hours.
