Graham is 'Professor of Avian Sensory Science' at the University of Birmingham. His talk compares avian vision with ours.

Work party at WMBC's Belvide Reservoir reserve. , Brewood, Staffordshire (SJ870099 *). Path and habitat maintenance work will be undertaken and also installation of several 'resting points' along the southern path. Gloves and tools will be provided, although extra spades and rakes brought along, would be useful. All members welcome! Meet at the first hide.

Draycote Water is at its best in winter, with good variety and numbers of wildfowl. We can hope for Great Northern Diver.

WMBC Kidderminster Branch field trip Ladywalk Nature Reserve. (SP212917 *) A half day visit to the Club's Ladywalk Nature Reserve, which lies on the site of the old Hams Hall power station, in a loop of the River Tame. This trip will be by car and we will meet in the car park. Journey time from Kiderminster approximately 45 minutes.
