Sunday 16 7:30am–8pm (approx.)	WMBC Birmingham Branch field trip	Titchfield Haven NNR (SU536024 ) and Farlington Marshes LNR (SU6804 ), Hampshire.	Coastal grazing marsh with views over mudflats of Langstone Harbour at Farlington promises waders and wildfowl with potential for migrants and rarities. Freshwater reedbeds, scrapes and meadows at Titchfield near the sea give possibilities of Bearded Tit, Cetti's Warbler and Water Rail. Migrant terns are a possibility. Cost £15.00

Saturday 22 September 10:00 am–5:00 pm	Dudley Rock and Fossil Festival	Dudley Museum & Art Gallery and Dudley Concert Hall, St. James's Road, Dudley DY1 1HU (SO942904 ).	Fosil displays, dinosaur movies, etc. Admission £2 adults; £1 children; £5 families.
Sunday 23 09:30am–12noon	WMBC Stafford Branch field trip	Berryhill, Stoke-on-Trent (SJ904464 )	Meet at the end of Arbourfield Drive, Berryhill. Easy walking. This is a good time of year for migrant birds and we should be able to find some of the species attacted to this unusual site where small stands of bushes attact a good variety of the more unusual birds, with recent visitors including Wryneck and Black Redstart.

Wednesday 26 7:30–9:30pm	WMBC Kidderminster Branch indoor meeting	St. Oswald's Church Centre, Broadwaters Drive, Kidderminster DY10 2RY (SO841779 )	Mike Leach: The Complete Owl Mike is a professional photographer, author and film maker for the BBC. This talk is based on his best selling book 'The Complete Owl'. It contains details of all resident British Owls, anatomy, breeding, hunting techniques, conservation and misleading beliefs.
