Indoor Meetings are held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, at the Birmingham Medical Institute, 36 Harborne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 3AF (SP052858 *); entrance from Highfield Road) and commence at 7.30 pm. Parking is available in the Institute's grounds.

Tuesday, 31 January 2006 Graham Harrison The Changing Habits and Birds of the West Midlands Graham Harrison, an ornithologist, author, speaker and keen photographer has an wealth of knowledge about the West Midlands region, its topography, habitats, birds and wildlife. A former Vice President of our Club, Graham is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute; a former County Planning Officer for Warwickshire County Council, responsible for country parks and local nature reserves. He continues to be actively involved in nature conservation, research and bird records. Together with his wife, Janet, he is co-author of our new book, 'The New Birds of the West Midlands': Graham outlines its conclusions in an illustrated talk.

Wednesday, 29 November 2006 Graham Bell Siberian Dream Graham Bell was eleven when his parents bought him the Witherby Handbook. He could not believe his eyes in seeing an illustration of a pink gull, and decided then that to see this bird was his ambition. His talk 'Siberian Dream' describes the fulfilment of that dream.
