In 1951, the Club published a West Midland Bird Distribution Survey, for private circulation.
Bird and place names were spelt as shown.
This large- format (23.5 x 30.5cm) booklet had 16 pages, with an introduction and 14 colour maps:
each showing the distribution of a species over 38 districts (roughly based on District Council boundaries), plus a large chart (and an errata slip), detailing all 100 species, included as an insert.
