                                              Welcome to the  West Midland Bird Club
Originally founded in 1929 as the Birmingham Bird Club the West Midland Bird Club is dedicated to the conservation and study of wild birds in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and West Midlands County.
It is run by Birders for Birders
The Club has reserves at Belvide and Gailey Reservoirs in Staffordshire, Ladywalk Reserve in Warwickshire and Harborne Reserve in Birmingham, and access agreements at Blithfield Reservoir in Staffordshire and the Moors Pool at Upton Warren in Worcestershire
We have Branches in Birmingham, Kidderminster, Solihull, Stafford and Tamworth. Whether you are new to birding or have a long standing interest, a warm welcome awaits
We publish a comprehensive Annual Report on the birds in the region and five informative newsletters
Supporting the West Midland Bird Club is a positive step in conserving important habitats for birds and other wildlife, and adding to our ornithological knowledge of the region. It offers opportunities to :-


There are a variety of Publications produced by the Club from monthly bird reports from each reserve to the Annual Report for the entire year covering all reserves
